Girl YOU Betta LLC is a personal and professional development consulting enterprise dedicated to women's empowerment through self-care culture, leadership discovery, and leaning into passion & creativity. GYB seeks to responsively help women heal and nurture the girl at-heart. Through personalized, interactive, mentoring and professional learning workshops, women are engaged in learning and discovery opportunities that empower their health, healing, and happiness.

Who is Dr. G?
Dr. GeNita (Dr. G) Williams is the owner, founder, and practitioner of Girl YOU Betta LLC. Dr. G a “career educator”, was born, raised, and educated in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. G has been an educator for almost three decades. Dr. G has an earned doctoral degree in Education/Educational Leadership, a master's degree in education administration, and a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education.
Dr. G works fulltime with as Program Specialist for Leadership Development. Dr. G is passionate about providing educational opportunity and access to all learners. Dr. G believes the goal of every educator should be to ensure students are learning about themselves as well as being educated in an environment that validates and affirms the diverse needs and innate capabilities of each student.
Girl YOU Betta LLC is the brainchild of Dr. G. Her goal is to share her personal journey with self-care culture, leadership discovery, and passion & creativity as a means of personal and professional empowerment for women everywhere.
What qualifies Dr. G?
I am a self-care enthusiast! The concept of self-care culture derives from my own struggles with prioritizing top-down self-care: emotional, mental, and physical self-care. My goal is to ignite a fire in women to become a proponent of their own self-care while making preventative self-care a culture to be passed down to future generations. Through my experiences with top-down self-care, I have changed the trajectory of my health and wellness. I want to empower other women to do the same.
My leadership discovery journey began out of the womb! I come from a lineage of women who lead. I am the oldest sibling to two younger brothers which prompted the skill of persuasion and influence early in my life. I am a mother and grandmother. I have enjoyed a career in education that has expanded over nearly three decades. I am a teacher and a leader by profession. Most of the women I have encountered in my life have leadership skills that simply need to be uncovered. I am here to empower every woman's leadership journey.
I did it! I have always wanted to write a book and as of February 2024, I became a published author. Using my work as a culturally and linguistically responsive (CLR) practitioner and leadership mentor, I have created a children's book series that uses storytelling to teach the importance of situational appropriateness. I am ecstatic! What passions lie within you? Allow me to empower you to bring those passions to the surface and unleash your greatest creative potential!

I have done and will continue to do the work to prioritize top-down self-care, I am a leader by profession, and I have uncovered the power of leaning into my passion & creativity. Using my journey as a catalyst, my goal is to empower women to help them to unleash the power and creativity that lies within. My approach is rooted in compassion & connectedness, love, and empowerment.
